At present Yegor Gaidar is the Director of the Institute of Transition Economics, Russian government official and a political figure, as well as a brilliant economist. In the early 90s Mr. Gaidar served as the First Prime Minister of Russia. In his presentation at the CIS Metals Summit, Mr. Gaidar will discuss noticeable and significant will be the implications of the global financial crisis on the economy of Russia and the CIS, will offer his evaluation of the current economic situation on the raw materials market, and development forecast for the metals sector.
